What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations are allowed up to 12 hours before the class. If you cancel within 12 hours, you may be charged for the class.

When should I arrive for my class?Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts. This gives you time to settle in, get ready, and be fully present for the session. If you arrive late, we unfortunately cannot let you into the class, as this would disrupt the other participants. We appreciate your understanding. Especially in Knokke, as the doors close automatically when the class starts.

What should I do if I’m running late?If you arrive late, please be aware that we may not be able to let you into the class. We prioritize the experience and comfort of all our participants, and lateness can interfere with that.

Can I change clothes at the studio?Yes, we have changing rooms and closets where you can safely store your belongings. In Ghent: If you have valuables, you can leave them at the reception or bring them with you to your reformer. We trust that no one steals — we’re a close community. In Knokke: We're also a close community, but we do have lockers.

Are there showers available?In Ghent: Yes, we have a shower with toiletries, and you can also borrow towels. In Knokke: No, we don't have showers.

Do I need prior experience to take a class?No, we offer classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our instructors will guide you through each exercise and offer modifications as needed to suit your experience level. If it’s your first time ever on a reformer, we advise you to book “intro to the reformer.”

What is the difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates?Mat Pilates is done on the floor using just a mat for support, while Reformer Pilates uses a specialized piece of equipment called a “Reformer” that provides resistance to help deepen exercises and challenge the body in new ways.

Can I work out if I’m pregnant?If you’re pregnant, we strongly encourage you to consult with your doctor before participating in any workouts at YOKO. You can also speak with your instructor, who will offer guidance based on their expertise. However, we always recommend following professional medical advice to ensure your safety and well-being.

What should I bring?We’ve got you covered for almost everything! Simply come dressed in comfortable workout clothes, wear suitable footwear, and bring a water bottle. For Reformer classes, sticky socks are required – you can purchase them at the studio. We provide all other essentials for your session, including closets, towels, and toiletries. Additionally, you’ll find complimentary filtered water stations throughout the studio.

How can I book a trial class?The most affordable way to start is with our “First Two Reformer Sessions” credit. You can purchase it online via our website or the Yoko Studio app. After that, you can go straight to the calendar to schedule your classes.

Can I book online myself, or does it go through you?You can book online yourself if you have a valid credit. If you want to schedule a recurring booking, please contact us by email or phone. If online booking doesn’t work for you, feel free to drop by the studio, and we’ll help you out.

Do I need to create a profile to book classes?Yes, you must create a profile before purchasing credits and booking classes.

Can I pause my subscription in case of long-term absence?Yes, that’s possible. Please contact us by email or phone, or ask in person at the studio.

What if I can’t attend for a week or more? Do I save my credits to use later?Normally, no. If you don’t show up, you lose your credit. However, if you have a monthly subscription, you can pause it for a month if necessary.

Is a subscription cancelable monthly if I pay in one go?Yes, a monthly subscription can be canceled every month. A three-month subscription can be canceled after three months, and so on.

Can you provide an invoice?Yes! Just send us an email after your purchase, and we’ll prepare the invoice for you.

Can I use my credits / membership for both locations?Yes! All credits and memberships are valid in both locations and stored in your account.
